Dr Gregory Boyd bio -- PERSPECTIVES on the World Christian Movement

Dr. Gregory Boyd

Greg Boyd serves as the senior pastor at Woodland Hills Church in St. Paul, MN.  He is also a professor of theology at Bethel College in St. Paul.  Greg and his wife, Shelley, have four children.  Greg received his B.A. in philosophy from the University of Minnesota, his M. Div. from Yale Divinity School, and his Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary.  He is the author of eleven books including the CBA Golden Book Award winning, Letters from a Skeptic (1994), God at War (1996), and Satan and the Problem of Evil (1999).  Greg’s ministry is characterized by passion for Jesus Christ.  He is motivated by the conviction that it is as important to worship God with all your mind as it is to worship Him with all your heart.  Faith should be both intellectually grounded and passionately lived.  Greg communicates difficult concepts and biblical truth through stories and examples from everyday life.  Whether they are hurting, unchurched, or committed believers, Greg challenges his audiences to a deeper, more passionate relationship with Jesus Christ.
