Speaker Bio:
Ric Escobar
Ric
Escobar, together with his wife Frieda, are Colombian nationals who head up the
work of OC International in Latin America.
They were involved in leadership training and discipleship while living
in Colombia, and continued in this capacity after moving to Miami,
Florida. Ric is the Latin American area
director. His responsibilities include
overseeing the OC resident fields in Mexico and Costa Rica. He will also explore new opportunities for impact
ministries in other Latin American countries, such as Argentina. Frieda is finishing her second year of
junior college and studies accounting.
She also works for H & R Block during the tax season, and is
responsible for the Latin America area office finances and some of the
administrative details. They have two
teenage sons, Danny (8th grade) and Sammy (12th grade).
